Good price, too far from the buzz, all a bit tired  

Excellent location directly opposite beach and within walking distance to all amenities. Large and spacious accommodation with beach views although dated and in need to a spruce up

We had a wonderful week staying at this property in Caloundra with our two small children. The apartment was incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. It was also very well equipped for cooking which made mealtimes easy. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. While the apartment is situated near a roundabout and can be a bit noisy at times the soundproofing was excellent once everything was closed up for the night. Communication with the hosts was seamless, and check-in/check-out was super easy. Overall, excellent value for money, we would absolutely stay again!

Comfort and bespoke stay apres-ski. Nice heating facilities, fully equipped kitchen, comfort beds and clean linens and towels.

Very spacious and compact with all necessities. Nice neighbourhood and enjoyable stays. Prompt response from the property manager if required.

Such an amazing place to stay with 2 families with teenagers. Everything was of an exceptionally high standard. Our only criticism would be that the beds just had sheets, didn't have fitted sheets nor doona covers so made it not as comfortable to sleep. I assume sheets are easier for hygiene and cleaning purposes? Also towels for a 1 week stay get quite wet and can need cleaning. The laundry facilities were excellent- used for washing clothes/ towels, but extra towels would be handy.

A perfect place for relaxation and privacy. The position of the property was exceptional. There was plenty of room and the decor was interesting  

Loved our stay in Byron Bay. The apartment was great - felt almost like there was an ensuite per bedroom which was perfect, and heaps of room for the little one to run around! Note, there is some noise that comes up from the restaurants / surrounds but wouldn’t deter us from staying again Easy walk to the shops and beach too

Absolutely gorgeous place. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spectacular with the views overlooking the mountains! Pool was super clean and great condition too. Can’t wait to come back here in the summer time!

The house was a great find for people travelling with families.

The apartment is lovely and spacious with calm, neutral decor and great outlook over gardens and central pool. The complex was also terrific - well maintained and airy with great access to the three pools, beach and NuNu restaurant. Also easy undercover parking and up two flights of stairs to the apartment (no lift if accessibility is a consideration). The only improvement would be to replace the master bedroom mattress which was way too soft for my comfort

A gorgeous house in the perfect location, we had the best week here. The house was immaculate, spacious and a perfect place to unwind. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Mer-Sea. The place was squeaky clean and had all the amenities you would need. The pool was definitely the highlight!

Lovely place to stay. Super close to all you need in Cairns and would 100% stay here again!

Location is great - so close to the beach, and a short drive to shops and restaurants. Host was great, very clear communication and easy instructions via email and text. The house is a bit tired and needs some attention, lots of cracks in the walls, the staircase felt unsturdy and pictures falling off frames on the walls to name a few. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean, but could use a deep clean, many cobwebs in corners and rubbish in couch cushions (my kids always manage to lose their toy cars in there!). The house was well stocked with crockery, pots and pans, etc., and linens for our large family. The very large dining table in the kitchen was a winner, fitting us all around the same table for once! All in all, we had a good stay but would probably chose a different property next time.

Perfect family home! Great house for a large family. Walk to beach, restaurants. Neat and clean.
