The rooftop was excellent and had everything you wanted and needed. The apartment was also equipped with more than necessary and very clean. Easy access to keys and informative emails from hosts. Only two downfalls which may not worry many was just the stairs to the rooftop and the balcony and rooftop needed some form of sun screening as it’s very bright and hot after lunch time with no shade outside.

What's not to love? Spacious, comfortable house. Decent sized pool. Right beside an entrance to the coastal path, and an easy walk to the dog off leash section of the beach. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy our holiday with our beloved collies!

Excellent location, fantastic view, great facilities, a great getaway for our family with young kids.

We have both been very impressed with last year and this year's holiday at "The Rocks" Coolum Beach. Prime position with great views and easy walking distance to the beach, all restaurants, shops etc. Staff amazing Sue really looked after us when rebooking us last year and Jackie the same for next year. Very clean, heaps of space and great location away from the hustle and bustle but still a nice walk along the Esplanade to the heart of the city.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mowamba D1! I stayed here with my daughter and it was perfect for us – super cozy, comfortable, and with everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Thredbo Village with shops and restaurants just downstairs, which made everything so easy and convenient. It was the perfect base for our trip, and we’re already looking forward to coming back on our next visit. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location, lovely older style chalet, terrific stay. All good. The location is fantastic. 5 minute walk along flat ground to the bottom of Friday Flats. Can't do better. Amazing location. Building is a little dated, but that's not an issue. It was very warm and very comfortable. Especially for off season. I might not have been particularly impressed paying $2000 a night in peak season, but for off season pricing it was fantastic. Saw some deer outside and it snowed in the village on our last night in September. Negative: Slight odor when we entered, though that dissipated fairly quickly. Also, the house number is actually 9A not 9.

The house is really new, modern, functional and perfectly furnished. It has plenty of space inside and a nice terrace overlooking the countryside. Although it is located in a residential area, we did not notice anything from the neighbors and enjoyed our privacy. The pool is a good size and pleasant temperatures. It is a 5-minute walk to the village beach and some good restaurants are also within walking distance. I would still recommend a rental car as there is a lot to discover in the Cairns area. CONCLUSION: We had a great week and would 100% recommend the house, there is really nothing to fault.

Lovely place to stay, very responsive and friendly!

We had an outstanding stay at The Pool House. The home is close to the beach and spotless, comfortable, and genuinely family‑friendly, stocked with plenty of kids’ toys and games. The pool‑and‑spa setup is resort‑caliber—easily one of the largest and nicest we’ve experienced in a private home, comparable to several top‑rated hotels. Libby (the property manager) and Taylor were polite, outgoing, and incredibly supportive, offering clear guidance on every amenity—especially the pool and spa, which are conveniently controlled through a digital app on the in‑home iPad. We left relaxed and impressed, and we plan to return next year on our usual trip to the area.
