Casual and enjoyable. The location was good close to restaurants. The check in and out easy.

We had four nights at Jasper 1. It was early spring so the area wasn't as busy as you would expect and we had an all round peaceful and comfy stay. The bed linen was crisp and clean, beds a bit firm, but I wouldn't mark the place down for it! Only my opinion. We enjoyed some great days skiing at Perisher, and coming home to Jasper 1 where it was warm and cosy was great. Close walk to many eating places and a great view of the lake.

We recently rented the house for 7 adults and it was beyond our expectations. It is a stunning home in a stunning location! It was extremely clean and we all enjoyed our time there. I would love to stay again, if given the opportunity!

We had a great stay in the magnificent Jila house. Fully equipped, top location, superbly decorated (beautiful Kimberley landscapes paitings) and enjoyed the footie in the TV lounge with the biggest screen I've ever seen !

Perfect for little babies. This property was perfect! It was so clean and tidy. We had a nearly 1 year old with us and we only had to lightly baby proof the area. They even provided some little toys for him that got plenty of use. The position of property was perfect for what we needed and it was also beautifully well stocked. We definitely recommend staying here and we will also be booking it again.

Location location location, beach, shops, walking paths, kids skate parkall within easy walking distance or sit on the deck and watch the whales blow in the bay. we had a multi generational family group and the house layout worked well. Having onsite parking plus two garages is fantastic. our grandkids brought bikes and they could all be safely locked away. A few minor points to note... the main doors close really loudly so may be a problem if you didn't rent both apartments, the apartments are getting a bit of a tired feel, especially the pool. Having said that the location and view from the upstairs apartment were really surpurb. all family members were able to interact together, share meals and get together. We had a wonderful time.

We had an outstanding stay at The Pool House. The home is close to the beach and spotless, comfortable, and genuinely family‑friendly, stocked with plenty of kids’ toys and games. The pool‑and‑spa setup is resort‑caliber—easily one of the largest and nicest we’ve experienced in a private home, comparable to several top‑rated hotels. Libby (the property manager) and Taylor were polite, outgoing, and incredibly supportive, offering clear guidance on every amenity—especially the pool and spa, which are conveniently controlled through a digital app on the in‑home iPad. We left relaxed and impressed, and we plan to return next year on our usual trip to the area.

Beautifully furnished home in a quiet street that was well positioned to get about. The dark coloured pool was a perfect temperature in the afternoons (we stayed at the end of August), and the high quality fit out (including soda stream, yeti cups and holders, and Global knives as a personal highlight), were thoroughly enjoyed. We did have some accessibility issues with no hand rails on the stairs, into the pool, or in the slippery downstairs shower, but overall we had a great time at Jila and hope to come back one day.

So thankful for the experience we had. We flew from SA for the first time with our 1 year old son. We were looked after so well to make the trip easier and less stressful. Everything was perfect, beautiful home so close to Palm cove water front. Amazing, we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you endlessly to the hosts…you’ve outdone yourselves

I was blown away by the beautiful decor and thoughtful amenities. Every detail was perfect, from the stylish furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen. It was a true home away from home. Great house , very spacious , and location is amazing. The pool is only accessible from the ground floor. It’s mot for second floor guests. Will go back again
