The house is nicely located, across from bush and walking tracks with friendly neighbours. It’s large and has lots of space for a big group. Bathroom very clean. Unfortunately other aspects of the house were very dirty. The lounge furniture was stained, the pool dirty, bbq unusably dirty and pots and cutlery (in cutlery drawer) very dirty with dried food. We had to clean the pool before use and wash pots and cutlery before use which was very disappointing. This didn’t match expectations nor the effort of the landlord to otherwise make the home comfortable and well presented. The managing agent did reimburse the cleaning fee following complaint.

Great unit. Excellent location. Walking distance to beach and to supermarket. The unit had a cupboard with board games which our family loved. Kitchen had a good range of cutlery for a family of 8. We really enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful place in a really nice spot, lots of space and a well stocked kitchen

Beautiful place to stay! Spotlessly clean, tidy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed—especially travelling with six kids! The massive pantry and two fridges (including one upstairs) were a huge help. The bedrooms were spacious, and we really appreciated the abundance of pool towels, plus having a washer, dryer, and dishwasher made things so easy. Everything you could need for a few days away with kids. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an outstanding stay at The Pool House. The home is close to the beach and spotless, comfortable, and genuinely family‑friendly, stocked with plenty of kids’ toys and games. The pool‑and‑spa setup is resort‑caliber—easily one of the largest and nicest we’ve experienced in a private home, comparable to several top‑rated hotels. Libby (the property manager) and Taylor were polite, outgoing, and incredibly supportive, offering clear guidance on every amenity—especially the pool and spa, which are conveniently controlled through a digital app on the in‑home iPad. We left relaxed and impressed, and we plan to return next year on our usual trip to the area.

I booked this property for staff members to stay at, and could not fault it. The property is absolutely stunning, and had everything they needed. Amira was especially helpful with anything we needed as well.

Lovely stay, perfect for our needs

Beautifully furnished home in a quiet street that was well positioned to get about. The dark coloured pool was a perfect temperature in the afternoons (we stayed at the end of August), and the high quality fit out (including soda stream, yeti cups and holders, and Global knives as a personal highlight), were thoroughly enjoyed. We did have some accessibility issues with no hand rails on the stairs, into the pool, or in the slippery downstairs shower, but overall we had a great time at Jila and hope to come back one day.

Apartment is in a great location; it has a sea view which was better than the photo; very well presented and spotlessly clean - everything I want in a short stay accommodation. Top floor lounge/kitchen and spacious balcony over pool. The bedroom downstairs at the rear, and has a lovely outlook over tropical rainforest (and car park). We loved the two bathrooms off the bedroom, one for each of us! Good coffee at cafe/supermarket next door.

We had an amazing stay at Alpha Luxe. The location is perfect, right in the centre of town yet you feel like you are in a private sanctuary when you are in the home. The home is well equipped and spacious and very comfortable for groups or families. Would absolutely love to come back!

Our Accom was great the unit was spacious and clean, showers perfect size and beds comfortable. The only thing I would say is the rraffic in the back alley for the resturant deliveries is loud and the drivers where quite often on their phones speaking very loud
