About the area

Nestled on the South Coast of New South Wales, just a three-hour drive from Sydney or Canberra, Jervis Bay is a dream destination of white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and untouched wilderness.

Fringed by national parks and a thriving marine park, Jervis Bay holiday rentals offer something for every type of traveller. Hike or cycle through scenic trails, discover cliff-top lookouts, or wander to remote, postcard-perfect beaches like Murrays Beach and Greenpatch. At the southern end, Booderee National Park showcases abundant bushland, native wildlife, and incredible natural beauty.

The best way to experience Jervis Bay is by water. Set out on a wildlife cruise across the Marine Park, home to playful bottlenose dolphins, seals, penguins, and migrating whales. For adventure lovers, swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, and stand-up paddleboarding are all popular activities. On land, Point Perpendicular Lighthouse and Cape St George Lighthouse offer prime whale-watching viewpoints during migration season.

Charming coastal towns like Callala Beach, Huskisson, Vincentia, and Hyams Beach hug the shoreline, offering laid-back vibes and unbeatable access to the bay. These towns are perfect bases, where you can unwind in one of many Jervis Bay house holiday rentals - from beachside cottages to stylish hideaways, all within walking distance to beaches, cafes, and shops.

The local food scene is another highlight. Think fresh seafood straight from the trawler, farmgate produce, cosy cafes, waterfront restaurants, boutique wine bars, and buzzing local markets.

Whether you're craving adventure or relaxation, a holiday rental house in Jervis Bay delivers an unforgettable coastal escape. With so much to explore, your best bet is to settle in and soak up the easygoing magic of this spectacular region.

From the guests and hosts who’ve experienced our difference.

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the house itself is really lovely, such a peaceful spot with great potential for an amazing stay. A few little things could use some attention though: • The dishwasher had some dirty cutlery inside with a bit of mould. • There aren’t any blinds on the main back windows or back doors. It gets quite dark at night, which can be a bit unsettling for kids who are scared of the dark. • The plastic covers on the deck don’t roll up properly, and some are dirty or broken, so it’s impossible to open them up and enjoy the uninterrupted lake view. • Only one sharp knife in the kitchen, a few more would be handy. • No chairs around the fire pit area. • Would be great if the outdoor furniture was set up on the grass closer to the lake to really enjoy the view. • No bathroom mats, so the floor got pretty wet after showers. • The towels were quite small, bigger, fluffier ones would be a nice touch. Overall, we still really enjoyed our stay
