Nice house poor quality

A beautiful house for a large family holiday. But I do not understand why a person owns a beautiful property then puts in third rate appliances, cups and glasses that are oversized and won't fit in the dishwasher. Junk pots and pans that they themselves don't want anymore and expect their guest to cook a nice meal for the number of people the house can accommodate. The sauna in the garage gets in the way so only one medium SUV can fit in the garage. There is no drying room.
