Welcome to Alma at Shoal Bay! This is a newly renovated coastal-style holiday home with more than a touch of luxury. Set with three bedrooms, in the main house, an additional fully contained studio at the rear of the property, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor alfresco area and inground pool, you cannot miss the opportunity to experience your own bit of luxurious holiday, you are bound to be envy of many.

Alma itself, is located in a peaceful street, tranquility and luxury exudes throughout this property, inside and out. Our owners have spared nothing when creating this beautiful space. From the comfort of the living room furniture and furnishings, through to the quality bedroom linen, quality finishes in the bathroom and the beautiful pendant light overhanging the gorgeous dining table, luxury exudes inside to the outside pool area which has been equally finished off with a special touch of luxury.

The inground pool is brand new, surrounded by the safety of a glass fence, and pebbled landscaped gardens. From all angles, inside the rear of the property you can enjoy a BBQ with the view of the sparkling blue water over the pool, equally aesthetic from the outside alfresco area.

Alma at Shoal Bay offers three bedrooms (all with built in robes), plus an additional separate studio at the rear of the property, (fourth bedroom or additional lounge space) overlooking the pool area, set with a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed, kitchenette and additional ensuite.

There are two bathrooms inside the property, open plan kitchen, dining and living area, complete with luxury finishes and furnishings inside and out. The living room looks out onto and leads to a large undercover alfresco dining area at the rear, outdoor furniture and a gorgeous fully glass-enclosed new inground swimming pool. This is where you can all sit back, relax, and take in the sun, take in a nap, or read a book and enjoy the warm summer air.

The outdoor area is second to none, be prepared to be in awe as you step out onto the rear deck where you will find the comfort of more than enough seating for all, a wooden outdoor dining setting, pool furniture and a complimentary beach umbrella, setting the scene for the perfect summer getaway. The colours of the gelato-coloured furniture, perfectly complimenting the bright blue pool undertones, and landscaped tropical plants and trees that line the skirts of the yard.

Other inclusions provided for your enjoyment during your stay is a full kitchen with pantry, stocked well with quality pans and kitchenware for those who love to cook, quality appliances including a dishwasher, cutlery and crockery, bar stools to sit up at the breakfast bench.

The large laundry has a washing machine and dryer; the open plan lounge room is complete with brand new, comfy lounges and furniture, smart TV with unlimited Wi-fi; and a stunning dining table, with enough seating for you all to enjoy a family meal.

There is plenty off street parking in the driveway of Alma, and plenty of room for the jet ski and boat. The fully enclosed landscaped back yard is the perfect haven for you and your children, family, and friends. Whether you wish to stay home and lounge around the pool or take a short 10-minute walk to the beach, there is plenty of entertainment and options for everyone.

Located within walking distance to the heart of Shoal Bay, within 10 minutes’ walk to the crystal-clear waters and pure white sands of Shoal Bay’s swimming beach and the iconic Country Club, with Fingal surf beach, Zenith, and Box beach, just as close, and within a short walk or drive from the front door of Alma at Shoal Bay. The Shoal Bay streets are lined with beach side restaurants, cafes, pubs, and clubs, (within a 5-minute walk to The Country Club in Shoal Bay), gift shops, convenience stores, Bbq and picnic areas galore, we guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!

There is so much to see and do, watch the sunset from the jetty, take a coastal walk around the scenic Tomaree Headlands, go surfing at one of the local surf beaches; Fingal Bay Beach, Zenith and Box Beach which are all within walking distance of Alma’s front door. The property is within a couple of minutes’ drive to Shoal Bay boat ramp or Little beach boat ramp, where you can launch your boat or jet ski safely. There’s a safe, off-road scenic cycleway that leads to Fingal Bay Beach and surf club, with a great children’s playground, or cycle in the other direction through shoal bay, to the shops that line the waterfront, cycling all the way to Nelson Bay. This property truly offers a complete beach holiday getaway.

The guest will nominate the number and identity of guests (including providing each adult guest’s full name and mobile phone number) that will occupy the property and will not allow any other person to enter the property. Additional guests at the property will incur additional charges.

Please note that this is a Holiday Accommodation that is not serviced. You will be provided with limited supplies for your first night's stay and we recommend organizing a shopping trip to pick up items like toilet tissue, shampoo, washing detergent, cooking oil, coffee, condiments, etc. for the duration of your stay.

There were no blinds in the dining area as shown in the photos, leaving no privacy, especially with neighbours so close. A power outage left us without electricity, hot water, or any way to cook for our 3 young children. The outage was expected to last 3–4 days, forcing us to leave 3 nights early as the property was uninhabitable.Despite this being a natural disaster, Belle Property claimed living without power is “acceptable”. We are sorry to hear that your experience was impacted by the extreme circumstances surrounding the natural disaster that affected the Port Stephens region during your stay. To address your concerns, we’d like to provide some context and clarification. The power outage, caused by the severe weather, was an unforeseen event that affected the entire region of Port Stephens. Unfortunately, during these times, utilities such as electricity and WiFi are beyond our control. We worked tirelessly to accommodate all of our guests under these challenging circumstances, prioritizing support wherever possible. Regarding the power outage, while it was originally estimated to last 3–4 days, power to the property was restored within 24 hours. Despite this, we understand that you made the decision to leave early. In recognition of the disruption caused, the owners went above and beyond by offering a refund for the two nights you were unable to use the property, even though our policy for natural disasters typically does not include refunds. We acknowledge your concern about the dining area blinds. We strive to ensure that all photos and property details are as accurate as possible, the photos displayed online are accurate in displaying that there are sheer curtains in the dining area. We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced during this rare and difficult situation.
